Condition of the land
The score, 0 to 100. 100 is land of its kind that people have left alone.
57 reads partly converted (48 to 77). The range, 51 to 64, is where its two measures disagree; 69% of it stays partly converted. A site visit settles it.
This is working land, far from what it once was. Decide what it is for before money goes in.
Read from two measures
How little people have changed it, from roads and buildings to fields and lights.
How much of it is not fields, buildings, or missing the forest it would carry.
The score sits between the two.
The land's signature
Five pillars under the score, 0 at the centre to 100 at the rim: water, ecology, climate resilience, freedom from pressure and soil.
