Dear Wise Earth Inc runs TERRA and is responsible for the personal data it keeps. We keep as little as the product needs and do not sell it.

  1. 01What we keep

    • Your email, if you sign in, pay, or give it to unlock a reading.
    • The readings you make: the boundary you drew and what TERRA found.
    • What you add: the parcels you hold, notes, photos and data-room files.
    • Your plan and its status. Card details go to Paddle, never to us.
    • Product counters with no identifier attached, to see which surfaces are used.

  2. 02Cookies and your device

    One cookie keeps you signed in. Your browser also keeps the parcels you hold and compare on your device. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

  3. 03Who processes it for us

    • Paddle.com, our reseller and merchant of record, for payments and receipts.
    • Vercel, which hosts TERRA and stores uploaded files.
    • Upstash, the database behind accounts and readings.
    • Resend, which sends sign-in codes and account email.
    • Anthropic, whose model writes parts of a reading and answers analyst questions; it receives the reading and the question, not your account details.
    • The map and data services a reading draws on (such as Esri, OpenStreetMap and Copernicus), which see the area being read and, for map tiles, your browser’s address.

  4. 04Follow-up from Dear Wise Earth

    If you give your email to unlock a reading, Dear Wise Earth may write to you about that land. Every such email can be declined by replying.

  5. 05How long, and your choices

    We keep account data while the account exists. Write to connect@dearwise.earth to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have your account and private readings deleted. Public readings can be taken off the wall on request.
