TERRA, at read.dearwise.earth, is offered by Dear Wise Earth Inc(“we”). By using TERRA you agree to these terms. Write to connect@dearwise.earth with any question.

  1. 01What TERRA is

    TERRA reads public satellite and open data for a piece of land and interprets it: a score, a verdict and the findings behind them. Reading a parcel is free. The paid plans add private readings, a portfolio, comparison, the analyst, printable reports and, on the Data Room plan, private data rooms.

  2. 02What a reading is not

    A reading is a starting point for diligence and design. It is not a survey, an appraisal, a title search, or legal, financial or engineering advice, and it can be wrong or incomplete where the underlying data is. Check what matters on the ground and with qualified people before you rely on it. Decisions about land remain yours.

  3. 03Paid plans and our reseller

    Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

    TERRA Pro is $15 a month or $150 a year. TERRA Data Room is $49 a month or $490 a year. Prices are in US dollars; tax is added at checkout where it applies. A plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.

  4. 04Cancelling and refunds

    Cancel any time from your account page; the plan stays open to the end of the period paid for. Any payment can be refunded in full within 14 days, as set out in the refund policy.

  5. 05Your account

    You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email; whoever controls that inbox controls the account, so keep it secure. One account is for one person. We may suspend an account used to abuse TERRA or other people.

  6. 06Your readings and what you add

    A reading made without a paid plan is public: it appears on the public wall and can be opened by anyone with its link. A reading a paid member keeps private is visible only to them unless they publish it. Notes, photos and files you add remain yours; you give us permission to store and show them to the people you choose. Do not add anything unlawful or that you have no right to share.

  7. 07Fair use

    Do not attempt to get around the paid plans, resell access, overload the service, or collect readings in bulk by automated means except through the published API and its terms.

  8. 08Liability

    TERRA is provided as it is, without warranties of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows. To the same extent, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it.

  9. 09Changes

    We may change these terms. The date above shows the latest version; paying members are told by email of any change that affects them before it takes effect.
