The EU deforestation rule asks for each plot's location and proof it was not cleared after 31 December 2020. TERRA reads each plot's forest loss year by year and flags any loss after 2020.

Forest loss from Global Forest Watch (Hansen, University of Maryland), yearly data currently to 2023. Check the latest year shown before you rely on it.
